FAW sells more than 230,000 vehicles in February
In February, Chinese automaker FAW Group produced 225,921 vehicles, an increase of 296.5 percent year on year, and sold 231,881 vehicles, an increase of 379.2 percent.
In the joint venture sector, FAW-Volkswagen produced 118,609 vehicles, up 321.7 percent year on year, and sold 120,666 vehicles, up 444.5 percent. FAW Toyota produced 48,164 vehicles, up 655.8 percent year on year, and sold 50,208 vehicles, up 654.9 percent. FAW-Mazda produced 1,481 vehicles and sold 2,018 vehicles.
In the first two months of this year, the Hongqi brand sold 45,535 vehicles in total, up 178.0 percent year on year. Behind the sales legend, it is the result of the innovation and deepening exploration of the Hongqi brand. Hongqi H9 is undoubtedly the most dazzling star model. Besides the domestic market, the Hongqi brand is actively exploring the overseas high-end market, which will make the brand closer to the sales target of 400,000 vehicles.
