From mid-January to early March, our city will host a variety of cultural and tourism activities to continually enrich the supply of cultural and tourism products and enhance the sense of experience and fulfillment of citizens and tourists.

I. Enriched Supply of Ice and Snow Tourism Products Stimulates Holiday Market Vitality

In response to the upcoming holiday tourism market, our city has launched a range of "Ice and Snow+" cultural and tourism activities, consumer scenes, and themed experiences. Four major ski resorts, 10 major ice and snow parks, and 47 ice and snow entertainment venues are fully open, providing diverse options for skiing enthusiasts, citizens, and tourists. There are ice and snow entertainment venues in all 17 counties (cities) and development zones. Over 140 ice and snow sculptures on the main streets of various urban districts and development zones, along with more than 100 outdoor ice rinks, create a strong festive atmosphere. Creative and novel events such as the Winter Agricultural Expo, the selection of the Top 10 "Ice and Snow Entertainment Places", the Jingyue Animated Ice and Snow Carnival, and the 2024 Changchun Ice and Snow Automobile Carnival are scheduled in succession. There is also a "Festival Folk Activities Feast" full of a Spring Festival atmosphere in various regions, such as the Tianding Mountain Spring Festival Folk Culture Festival, night tours at Changchun Zoological and Botanical Park - "Spring Festival Garden Party", Spring Festival celebrations at Lotus Island Film Leisure Culture Park, and the ice and snow happy gathering at Nong'an Taipingchi, allowing tourists to experience authentic and warm Northeast China's Spring Festival atmosphere and style. In addition, Jingyuetan will host snow football matches, ice interactive competitions, and other ice and snow activities. North Lake • Secret Snow Valley will present fireworks shows, magical drag shows, and Lantern Festival celebrations. Changchun New World of Ice and Snow, Changchun Zoological and Botanical Park, Lotus Island Film Leisure Culture Park, and more will offer interesting activities every day and popular events every week throughout the winter vacation to enrich ice and snow tourism experiences of tourists, especially young people.

Additionally, to cater to different visitor needs, we have launched a comprehensive Changchun Winter Tourism Guide, a "reference book" summarizing various must-visit spots for winter tourism in Changchun. It covers scenic spots, ice and snow parks, ski resorts, hot springs, special delicious food, trendy shopping destinations, cultural museums, consumer places, winter activities, tourism routes, etc. Citizens and tourists can refer to product routes in the guide or customize their own exclusive itineraries. We have also prepared a special guide for college students and an ice and snow study tour guide for primary and secondary school students, which will serve as a "handbook" for young people exploring Changchun.

II. Wonderful Ice and Snow Cultural Activities Showcase Festive Cultural Features

Guided by "benefiting the people with culture", the entire city is collaboratively promoting cultural activities both online and offline. More than 1,200 sessions of 359 mass cultural activities across five categories are carefully planned to keep enriching the cultural product supply during the Spring Festival.

In terms of artistic performances, a flash team composed of the CFS Orchestra, CFS Performing Arts Group, Jilin Opera Troupe, Jilin Hip-Hop Union, and Changchun Guanghui Chorus will conduct 40 artistic flash shows in various scenic areas and blocks. There will be over 70 non-profit cultural activities of various kinds and 71 exhibitions open to the public. Former Site Museum of Changchun Film Studio and another two museums will extend their service hours, and eight museums including the Palace Museum of the Manchurian Regime will conduct study tours for primary and secondary school students during the winter vacation.

III. Multiple Measures Are Encouraged in Service Supervision to Create an Orderly Market Environment

Firstly, it is necessary to guide and motivate travel agencies to actively explore domestic and international tourism markets, so as to attract more visitors to Changchun, stimulate the vitality of the holiday tourism market, and promote the development of the city's cultural and tourism industry. Secondly, it is important to regulate the operation and management of travel agencies and the conduct of tour guides. Companies must strengthen employee education and training, foster a strong service-oriented mindset, improve their professional skills and capabilities, and elevate the quality of tourism services, so as to ensure that tourists have delightful travel experiences. Thirdly, enhanced daily supervision and enforcement action in the cultural and tourism market aims to ensure travel agencies' compliance with their responsibilities in safety production, fire safety, and food safety, while improving their capacity to handle unexpected events by implementing effective preventive and response measures. Special initiatives will be rolled out to crack down on unauthorized travel agency operations, "unreasonably low-priced tours", scams targeting the elderly, etc. In addition, consumer rights protection will be strengthened, and channels for cultural and tourism complaints and reports will be streamlined, thereby bolstering the efficiency and authority of tourism complaint mediation.
