Across mountains and rivers, Jilin Province and Xizang Autonomous Region celebrate the deep bonds that unite them. With the active coordination and strong support of the 9th batch of Jilin Province's Aid-Xizang Work Team, Xizang Airlines has announced the launch of a new round-trip air route linking Lhasa, Xi'an and Changchun. The route's inaugural flight took place on October 27. Operating under flight numbers TV9827 and TV9828, the service runs on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with tickets on sale now.

The launch of flight TV9827 stands as a major initiative for Jilin and Xizang to deepen cultural tourism cooperation and implement the "Mount Qomolangma-Changbai Mountain Cultural Tourism Alliance" project. The regular operation of this flight will effectively promote the in-depth integration of cultural tourism resources and mutual exchange of tourist sources between the two regions, combining complementary strengths and achieving win-win cooperation. The service will attract more visitors from northeast China, injecting new vitality into the winter tourism market in Xizang, and empowering the region to become an international eco-tourism destination. Meanwhile, for people of all ethnic groups in Xizang, it will facilitate their travels to Jilin for economic and trade exchanges as well as cultural tourism interactions, enabling them to share the development opportunities brought by the revitalization of northeast China.

With flight TV9827 entering into operation, same-day travel between Jilin and Xizang has become available. It not only brings the two regions closer than ever, but also builds an efficient air corridor for their cultural tourism cooperation and commercial exchanges.
