Recently, Airports Council International (ACI) officially announced the winners of the 2025 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards. Changchun Longjia International Airport (hereinafter referred to as "Changchun Airport") was honored with the "Best Airport" award in the Asia-Pacific region for airports handling 15 to 25 million passengers annually. This marks the third time Changchun Airport has received this international accolade during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, signifying its consistently leading position among peer airports in service quality. It represents high recognition from the international airport industry and passengers for Changchun Airport's service excellence, operational efficiency, and comprehensive capabilities, making it a shining emblem of Northeast China as an open gateway.



In recent years, Changchun Airport has positioned itself as a regional aviation hub in Northeast Asia and has focused on high-quality development, leading to significant advancements in its flight route networks, infrastructure, and service quality. It has enhanced its service management, upgraded its service facilities, and refined its route network to establish air connectivity spanning Northeast Asia and extending across the country, thereby strengthening its role as a comprehensive transportation hub. Core indicators, such as the passenger throughput, have repeatedly hit record highs. In addition, the hub's operational capabilities and brand influence have seen significant leaps, providing robust aviation support for local development and the comprehensive revitalization of Jilin Province.

The airport has set a new record in throughput. In 2025, Changchun Airport handled a total of 17.759 million passengers and 107,000 metric tons of cargo and mail, achieving an all-time high. This achievement in civil aviation injects robust momentum into Jilin Province's comprehensive revitalization, paving the way for new breakthroughs.


It fetures extensive route network coverage. Route network optimization functions as the core driver of transportation growth. Changchun Airport has focused on increasing flight frequencies to key domestic cities such as Beijing and Shanghai and raised the proportion of direct flights to long-haul destinations like Xiamen and Fuzhou. It now connects to 82 domestic destinations. It has restored or launched 13 international routes, including services to Singapore and Bangkok, marking a 14% increase over 2019. This expansion provides a vital aviation gateway for Jilin's external exchanges and the opening-up of Northeast China.


It leads the pack in operational efficiency. Changchun Airport achieved a departure punctuality rate of 95.75% in 2025, ranking first among China's airports handling over 10 million passengers annually.


It focuses on passenger services to make humanistic care shine with new brilliance


It provides special services that touch people's hearts. Tailored to meet the diverse travel needs of passengers of all ages and types, the airport consistently enhances specialized services, including those for first-time passengers, ice and snow tour groups, and educational tour groups. The airport team is committed to upgrading infrastructure, streamlining service processes, and improving staff competence, thereby creating more accessible and seamless travel experiences.



It builds its brand with thoughtful and caring services. The airport continuously enriches the brand essence of "Jilin-style Service", upgrades the "Ice and Snow in Jilin" service offerings, and precisely addresses the travel needs of passengers during the snow season. It has established the "Spring Appointment" Intermodal Service Alliance with railway departments along the air-rail intermodal route to jointly provide extended services for passengers with special needs. It has also steadily improved the service chain for senior passengers and optimized the "Jilin Care for Seniors" service products, achieving dual improvements in service efficiency and passenger satisfaction.


Changchun Airport enhances service quality and efficiency with innovation. It has introduced a "one-window" service for inbound passengers, covering government services such as port visa services as well as social services like tourism consultation, thereby supporting Jilin Province's high-level opening-up. The new generation of self-service baggage check-in equipment has officially commenced trial operations within the terminal, which is expected to significantly reduce passengers' waiting time for baggage check-in. Designated ride-hailing waiting areas have been added to cut passengers' waiting time by 50% through intelligent traffic analysis and dynamic optimization.
