On September 15, the Si Book Store in EH World in Changchun High-tech Zone was officially transformed into the "Xiashufang" Xinhua Living Bookstore. A series of reading activities were carried out at the event, including an artist exhibition, book signing, and mini lectures, offering readers a diverse reading experience.

The bookstore is a newly upgraded venue by Jilin Xinhua Bookstore Group, combining reading, green plants, cultural creativity, lectures, art, and leisure. It emphasizes the theme of "living", promotes leisurely and joyful reading, and caters to the needs of more readers seeking a place to relax and read. Upon entering it, visitors can immerse themselves in books while being surrounded by lush plants and refreshing mist, experiencing a sense of harmony with nature.

According to Jiang Yongping, the person in charge of the bookstore, "This newly upgraded bookstore features a cultural and creative play area for young readers, a large Instagrammable IP area, an area for mini lectures where authors and scholars can interact with readers, and a tranquil study area for students. Additionally, the former gallery area has been designated as an art appreciation area to host some small art auctions, which can enhance artistic exchanges and invigorate the cultural auction market in Changchun. Furthermore, in response to the growing focus on wellness, we have introduced healthy drink experience services in the coffee area, aiming to create a fresh reading experience for our visitors."
