Changchun Confucian Temple Museum
Changchun Confucian Temple Museum is a three-step-courtyard antique building enclosed by halls and porticos. Built in 1872, it has a history of 151 years, known as one of the earliest ancient architectural relics in Changchun. Integrating culture, education, and tourism functions, it serves as an important venue for traditional folk activities and the inheritance of traditional Chinese culture. Every year, in addition to hosting traditional ceremonies like coming-of-age ceremonies and enlightenment ceremonies, the museum also features various public benefit activities on traditional festivals such as New Year's Day, Spring Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Double Ninth Festival, and Laba Festival. Through these activities, people are imperceptibly influenced and nurtured by virtue and culture.
The main building of the Changchun Confucian Temple Museum is meticulously structured and follows the typical traditional Chinese architectural style. Epitomizing the essence of traditional Chinese culture, it exudes the beauty of artistic conception in every corner.
The museum is dedicated to the promotion of traditional Chinese culture and the popularization of traditional Chinese studies. It has established the first nationwide public beneficial lecture on traditional Chinese studies called the "Traditional Chinese Studies Lecture" in collaboration with a number of units.
