Songyuan Café

On September 30, 2025, the century-old "Building One" of Songyuan, which had endured the test of time, took on a new appearance. This building, once the official residence of the commander of the Japanese Kwantung Army during their invasion of China, was meticulously restored to its original state and reopened to the public as "Songyuan Café." This move marked the transition of this historical building from "niche" preservation to "public" sharing. The café offers unique beverages with Jilin characteristics, such as ginseng coffee and frozen pear coffee, allowing visitors to savor local flavors while immersing themselves in Jilin's historical and cultural heritage. It can be said that this place is not only a great spot to enjoy a cup of coffee but also serves as a "city salon" in Changchun, acting as a temporal and spatial "hub" that connects the city's cultural threads. It echoes harmoniously with the renovated Xinmin Avenue Historical and Cultural District, jointly writing a new chapter for Changchun's cultural tourism.
