Changchun Public Fitness Center, with 100 outdoor parking lots, is located at the No.1, Tibei Road of Yatai Street, Changchun City. Its land area and construction area is 27,855 square meters and 15,443 meters respectively. The design is guided by the idea of highlighting functions, pursuing perfection, creating a novel image and forming a unique style.

The reasonably streamlined layout of the center makes it possible that all parts can be put into use. Its fashionable, gorgeous facade fully reflects the intrinsic characteristics of modern sports buildings. The use of modern materials as well as virtual, real and contrastive and balanced proportion methods have made all space in use organically connected as a whole.

The center, the first largest, most multifunctional and best designed of its kind in Jilin Province, is able to receive over 3,000 people participating in ten or more fitness programs at the same time in a single day.

The fitness center is one of the 12 pragmatic programs that the People’s Government of Changchun City has done for the citizens. For the 2007 Asian Winter Games, it was used for athletes’ strength restoring and press releasing. It is another image brand project made possible by sports lottery funds, a new landmark sports facility of the city, and also a nonprofit project drawing the attention of local citizens. Its completion and operation represent a new stage in Changchun citizens’ fitness sports.

On the basis of making it serve a demonstration center at provincial level, more effort will be put into transforming it into a center at national level for the demonstration of public fitness sports.
