Started in 1992, Changchun International Film Festival is a gala organized once in every two years. Its slogan is to “make the film festival serve a stage on which activities related to economy, trade, culture, science, technology and tourism are organized”. The quality and well recognized “spreading out of themes of the times”, the “pursuit of getting film culture popularized”, the “harvest of economic and trade activities” are prioritized. It now has become one of China’s top four film festivals.
