The “1st Ice Fishing Competition”, jointly sponsored by the Changchun Municipal Federation of Sport and the Changchun Jingyue Lake Tourism Development Group Co., Ltd., was organized at the picturesque wonderland of ice and snow, Jingyue Lake National Forest Park, on January 22, 2022. 

As an activity in this ice and snow season, the competition, which is organized in line with the theme “Winter Olympics in Beijing, Experience in Jilin, Enjoyment in Changchun” and the slogan “Ice and Snow in Changchun, Gathering for the Winter Olympics, and Having Fun in Ice Fishing at the Beautiful Jinyue Lake Forest Park”, attracted 120 contestants and 120 assistants from different places of the province. The organizing committee says the competition, the first of its kind in the history of public, ice and snow sport in the city, is meant to make use of the characteristics and reality of the city to disseminate the culture of ice and snow sport, promote its development, and thus create a new business card for public, ice and snow sport in Changchun City.
