The Museum of Arts and Crafts of Jilin Province, which is located at the Jingyuetan National Forests Park, is a cultural complex integrating such functions as art exhibition, conference, educational activity and artistic project. In line with the concept of “arts and crafts for the people”, the museum has been serving as a place to exhibit and popularize the exquisite artworks with regional cultural characteristics of Jilin Province.

Accompanied by the tour guide and the interpreter of CCFAO, the delegation visited such thematic series with unique folk craft characteristics of Jilin Province as Chinese painting, ship model, egg and root carving and Yuping’s figure, and listened to the stories of inspirations and know-hows of making such artistic works. Among the exhibits that most interested the guests included basaltic fired ceramics and Songhua inkstone representing the uniqueness and craftmanship of traditional Chinese folk arts and crafts.
