On August 20, Yue Quan Bionics Co. Ltd., together with Jilin Province Innovation Center of Bioinspired Robotics, showcased multiple fully self-developed bionic intelligent products at the Hall C exhibition area of the 2026 World Robot Conference (WRC). Featuring dexterous and precise bionic hand movements, smooth and stable walking gaits, and versatile functions adaptable to various scenarios, these products attracted wide attention at the national-level exhibition, highlighting Changchun's achievements in scientific and technological innovation. The showcase has also provided a clear view of how Changchun, a city that has been deeply engaged in intelligent manufacturing for years, is continuously unleashing new momentum for sci-tech innovation through its solid industrial foundation and sophisticated technologies.

Bionic Technologies Empower Robots with Greater Vitality

At the WRC, various industrial and service robots were on display, showcasing their diverse strengths. Changchun's independently developed bionic intelligent equipment stood out with its highly human-like design and practical performance.

The Y-Hand M2 bionic dexterous hand can accurately mimic various subtle hand movements. Equipped with a structure boasting 38 ultra-high degrees of freedom, it delivers high operational accuracy, with its actual task success rate remaining at 96%. The X-Hand M1 dexterous hand focuses on highly sensitive perception, enabling it to accurately recognize and rapidly respond to various operation commands. The bionic humanoid robot, Bowen W-Bot 2.0, features a lightweight body and flexible mobility suitable for lightweight application scenarios, including science outreach on campuses, customer guidance, and household assistance. The bionic quadruped robots "Zhu Ri" and "Zhui Yue" demonstrate outstanding performance and strong terrain adaptability. They can easily navigate uneven surfaces and challenging field environments, effectively addressing the limitations of manual operations in special scenarios and expanding the applications of intelligent operations.

Changchun's Intelligent Manufacturing Draws Nationwide Attention with Cutting-Edge Technologies

Changchun's bionic robots displayed on the WRC are mature products that have entered mass production. They have undergone rounds of technological iteration, testing and optimization, delivering stable performance and strong adaptability. This proven strength characterized by maturity, practicality, and applicability has impressed numerous business representatives. Industry insiders at the event generally recognized that Changchun's bionic robots combine operational precision and stability, as well as scenario adaptability, demonstrating prominent advantages in two key areas: fine bionic manipulation and intelligent operations in complex environments. They also possess significant market development potential.

The Old Industrial Base Embraces New Opportunities through Profound Sci-Tech Innovation

Changchun's bionic sci-tech innovations have been showcased at a national-level event and gained market recognition. This success is by no means accidental; it is the result of years of dedication to intelligent manufacturing and industrial upgrading.

As an equipment manufacturing city in northeast China, Changchun has built a solid foundation in machinery manufacturing and established a complete and mature industrial support system, providing strong assistance for the research, development, and manufacturing of intelligent equipment and bionic robots. Meanwhile, numerous universities and research institutes within the city have brought together a wealth of innovation resources, continuously cultivating professional talent in fields like mechanical engineering, artificial intelligence, and automation. Local research teams have also devoted themselves to technological breakthroughs and refinement, overcoming technical bottlenecks and improving product performance, thereby strengthening the talent and technological foundations for the innovation-driven industries.

In recent years, provincial and municipal authorities have continued to advance the transformation and upgrading of old industrial base, focusing on the cultivation of strategic emerging industries such as artificial intelligence and high-end intelligent equipment. They have steadily improved a full-chain service system covering sci-tech innovation incubation, technological breakthroughs, transformation and commercialization of sci-tech achievements, and industrial support, while optimizing the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. These efforts have eased the burdens on the local innovation teams, empowering them for technological R&D.

"Leveraging local strengths to advance R&D while expanding into markets nationwide has always been our development philosophy," said a representative of Jilin Province Innovation Center of Bioinspired Robotics, who described the WRC as a top-tier domestic platform for display, exchange, and business matchmaking across industries. By bringing their products to the exhibition, the exhibitors from Changchun not only showcase the renewed image of northeast China's old industrial bases to the rest of the nation, but also gain valuable opportunities to benchmark against industry frontiers, embrace advanced ideas, and connect with industrial chain resources across the country, thereby expanding the channels for the application of local sci-tech innovations.

From dedicated lab work over tough challenges to impressive appearances on national-level platforms, an increasing number of Changchun's homegrown sci-tech achievements are growing from their local roots and reaching markets across the country. Grounded in its industrial foundations, intelligent manufacturing, and innovation ecosystem, Changchun's intelligent manufacturing brand is shining ever brighter through successive technological breakthroughs and remarkable showcases.
