On December 18, the promotional event for the 9th Jilin International Ice and Snow Industry Expo was held in Changchun. Hu Yuting, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee and Governor of Jilin Province, attended the event. Centered on the theme "New Ice and Snow Consumption, Sharing a New Future", this year's Snow Expo introduces an innovative "Expo + Music Festival" format. It will be supported by an array of international industry exchange activities such as the Jilin China–Austria Ice and Snow Industry Dialogue and the 2025 Jilin Tour Operators Conference, as well as public-oriented events including the Ice and Snow Fashion Week, municipal (prefectural) cultural and tourism promotions, and powder snow concerts. These initiatives aim to build platforms for business cooperation, consumer benefits, and cultural exchange, creating both "a grand celebration of ice and snow" and "a truly inclusive festival for all".

At the event, Jin Yuhui, a member of the Party Leadership Group of Jilin Provincial Government delivered a keynote presentation. Attendees also included Zhang Enhui, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Changchun Municipal Committee; Jia Xiaodong, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Jilin Provincial People's Congress; Li Longxi, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC Jilin Provincial Committee; Gu Gang, Mayor of Changchun City; the Austrian delegation; ambassadors to China from Malawi, Colombia, North Macedonia, Thailand, Nicaragua, Peru, Lebanon, Lesotho, and other countries; diplomatic envoys to China from Madagascar, Samoa, Zambia, Suriname, Gambia, Mauritius, Maldives, Myanmar, New Zealand, Croatia, Senegal, and other countries; representatives of diplomatic missions in China from the United States, Poland, Norway, Russia, and other countries; as well as representatives from relevant domestic and international organizations.
