2025 Changchun International Optoelectronic Expo·Light Conference Kicks Off

On June 10, the 2025 Changchun International Optoelectronic Expo·Light Conference (hereinafter referred to as the 2025 CCIOE) kicks off at the Northeast Asia International Expo Center in Changchun, under the theme "Optoelectronics Leads the Way, Forging a New Quality Future".
Upholding its core concept of "Honored by Light, Drawn by Light, Empowered by Light, and Dreaming with Light", the 2025 CCIOE focuses on cutting-edge technologies and the latest products in optoelectronic information. By building a platform that connects technologies and markets, projects and capital, industries and talent, the expo injects strong momentum into the development of the optoelectronic sector.
Notably, this year marks the first time that the Light Conference is jointly held with CCIOE, attracting nearly 1,000 experts from 26 countries across six continents. The Academic Conference of the Chinese Optical Society, a top academic event in the field of optics in China, is also being held concurrently with CCIOE at the same venue for the first time, drawing more than 2,000 domestic scholars to participate in over 20 academic seminars and creating a broad platform for academic exchanges and collision of ideas.

In terms of scale, this year's expo surpasses all previous editions. The total exhibition area reaches 86,000 square meters, an increase of 16,000 square meters compared with last year. With a well-structured layout, the expo encompasses six major optoelectronic industry clusters and 15 industry segments. A total of 55 conferences will be held, marking a 41% increase from last year. Additionally, a dynamic display zone for low-altitude flight and unmanned driving has been added, offering visitors a fresh experience.
This expo has attracted 850 renowned optoelectronic enterprises from China, the U.S., the UK, Germany, Italy, Japan, and South Korea, up 26% from last year, with a notable rise in participation from Fortune Global 500 and listed companies. Eleven exhibition delegations, including those from the Hangzhou-Shaoxing Airport Economic Demonstration Zone, Suzhou, Nanjing, and Anhui, are attending the event with leading enterprises in niche segments, representing a 120% increase in the number of delegations from last year. The overall exhibitor structure has been further optimized. Meanwhile, local research institutions such as the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Northeast Normal University, and Changchun University of Science and Technology are active participants, highlighting Changchun's strong scientific research strenth.
