The 13th Jilin (Changchun) Winter Agriculture Expo is to open in Changchun Modern Agricultural Park from January 12 to 28, according to the press conference held by the Changchun municipal government on January 6. The expo, covering a total area of 200,000 square meters, will set up 5 major sections for facility agriculture exhibition, sightseeing agriculture exhibition, sci-tech achievement application exhibition, animals exhibition and holiday shopping.

With the theme of "Brand, Green, Health and Harmony", the expo this year will highlight the integration of green agriculture and winter tourism with custom culture, plan a number of popular science, cultural and entertainment activities, carry out a series of artistic performances, and strive to become an agriculture expo for citizens to go sightseeing and shopping, for experts to display scientific research results and for farmers to learn cultivation techniques.

It is reported that the expo sets up an exhibition hall to show the application of sci-tech achievements in the agriculture sector. Relying on the advantages of the National Agricultural Sci-tech Achievements Transfer Service Center and the National Seed Sci-tech Achievements Property Rights Transaction Center Changchun Branch settling in Changchun Modern Agricultural Park, the expo will build itself into a high-level agricultural sci-tech achievements transfer service platform with local characteristics.

The expo will carry out product exhibition and sales activities both online and offline. The new "Excellent Agricultural Products" center will select more than 1,000 kinds of high-quality agricultural products and greens for offline exhibition and sale, and will launch a number of group-purchasing gift boxes for the upcoming Spring Festival. The "Online Winter Agriculture Expo" Spring Festival shopping festival will create an exhibition mode of "offline experience + online shopping".
