Friendly Visit by Krasnoyarsk No. 1 High School Concludes Successfully
On October 28, 2023, the closing ceremony for the friendly visit by Krasnoyarsk No. 1 High School from Russia was held at Changchun Foreign Language School, marking the successful conclusion of the eight-day exchange program. On behalf of the leaders of Changchun Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, Liu Weiran, Director of the Consular Section, attended the ceremony and presented certificates of honor to the teacher representatives from Krasnoyarsk No. 1 High School.

The closing ceremony featured a wonderful cultural performance jointly presented by student and teacher representatives from both schools. Student representatives sang songs and recited poems in both languages, expressing their thirst for knowledge and celebration of friendship, while teacher representatives performed the classic song Moscow Nights, building a bridge of emotional resonance. These performances not only showcased the outstanding language abilities and artistic talents of the students from both schools, but also vividly reviewed and summarized the learning achievements gained during the visit.

In their speeches, the principals of both schools highly commended the students for their excellent performance in Chinese language learning, cultural immersion, and extracurricular activities. They agreed that the experience-sharing sessions and professional discussions between teachers from both sides on topics such as teaching methods and curriculum design effectively fostered the integration of educational concepts. Meanwhile, through studying and living together, students from both countries enriched their knowledge, broadened their horizons, and forged precious friendships that transcend national borders.
The friendly visit by Krasnoyarsk No. 1 High School represented a successful practice of educational cooperation between Changchun and Krasnoyarsk. Both schools expressed their commitment to further expanding exchange programs on this foundation, with the aim of broadening students' international perspectives, enhancing mutual understanding of Chinese and Russian cultures among young people, and jointly writing a new chapter in China-Russia educational cooperation.
