As the first passenger car manufacturer in China to reach the milestone of 30 million vehicles produced, FAW Volkswagen has achieved remarkable results through 34 years of unremitting effort since its establishment in Changchun in 1991. It has become a model of win-win cooperation between China and Germany and a benchmark for the common development of central enterprises and local governments. Hu Yuting noted that Jilin Province is earnestly studying and implementing the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, consolidating and strengthening the foundation of the real economy, and accelerating the building of a modern industrial system with Jilin characteristics. Building on more than three decades of solid development, the province will continue to foster a first-class business environment, support FAW Group in staying ahead of the curve, help the Volkswagen brand achieve further success, and promote breakthroughs in the transformation of the automobile industry. At the ceremony, Zhang Enhui, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Changchun Municipal Committee, Fu Bingfeng, Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, and Qiu Xiandong, Chairman and Secretary of the Party Committee of FAW Group, delivered speeches. In their video speeches, Patricia Flor, German Ambassador to China, and Oliver Blume, CEO of Volkswagen AG, extended their heartfelt congratulations to FAW Volkswagen on achieving this milestone. They also expressed their best wishes for continued breakthroughs in bilateral cooperation and the company's further success. Hu Yuting and Qiu Xiandong presented trophies to former leaders and employee representatives of FAW Volkswagen.
