On the afternoon of March 23, the 2023 Changchun Conference on Speeding up the Digital Transformation and Upgrade of Industrial Enterprises & Spring Summit Forum was held, with the theme of "Digital Empowerment, Intelligent Future". The conference released the Plan for the Digital Transformation and Upgrade of Industrial Enterprises in Changchun and announced the official launch of the digital transformation and upgrade action for industrial enterprises in the city. Changchun will achieve the digital transformation and upgrade of 1,278 local industrial enterprises in about three years.

This year's Government Work Report of Changchun said that the city will digitally transform 400 local enterprises and build 500 smart workshops. To achieve this goal, Changchun will accelerate the implementation of the plan, focus on three key tasks of internal digital transformation, external digital guarantee and joint transformation and upgrade of enterprises, and implement five major actions including the improvement of new infrastructure construction, the innovative development of the Industrial Internet, the digital transformation demonstration of industrial enterprises, the public service capacity enhancement of digital transformation and the promotion of excellent industrial digitization solutions. Changchun will also vigorously promote the digital transformation of industrial enterprises, accelerate the pace of transformation and upgrade, empower high-quality development, and provide strong support for the building of a strong city in industry.

At the summit forum, participants made speeches on such topics as the path to digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises driven by the Industrial Internet, the implementation and practice of digital transformation, the digital assistance in industrial transformation and upgrade, digital transformation building new competitive advantages for enterprises, and the operation upgrading and intelligent manufacturing of digital-driven factories. They also shared their insights on digital transformation of industry and put forward guiding suggestions for speeding up the digital transformation and upgrade of industrial enterprises in Changchun.
