At 14:20 on November 16, 2022 (Beijing time), China successfully launched 5 satellites including Jilin-1 Gaofen-03D08 satellite and Gaofen-03D51~54 satellites with the Ceres I Telemetering IV Launch Vehicle from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. All satellites successfully entered the preset orbit and the mission was a complete success.

Jilin-1 Gaofen 03D08 satellite and Gaofen 03D51~54 satellite are light and small high-resolution remote sensing satellites independently developed and mass-produced by Changguang Satellite Technology Co., Ltd. With a breadth of more than 17km, this series of satellites can provide users with image products with a resolution of better than 0.75m, which is characterized by low cost, low power consumption, low weight and high indexes.

All 5 Jilin-1 satellites launched this time, after orbit injection, will be networked to the 70 other Jilin-1 satellites in orbit. So far, the number of Jilin-1 satellites in orbit has increased to 75, and it can visit any place in the world 25 to 27 times a day, and provide more abundant remote sensing data and product services for fields covering agriculture, forestry, marine, resources, environmental protection, urban construction and scientific experiments.

The mission is the 22nd launch of the Jilin-1 Satellite Project.
