The Summer Festival in Shuangyang District of Changchun City “Holiday Spending Restarted” was opened Sunday morning on July 26, 2020. The tourist destination Shenlufeng Tourism Resort received 13,000 visitors on the first day. 

The festival, sponsored by the People’s Government of Shuangyang District in line with the theme “Leisure, Cool Summer, Vacation”. The organizing committee says in a period of up to three months more than 20 summer activities featuring “Tourism plus Cool Summer” and “Tourism plus Culture” will be organized to provide a gorgeous feast of coolness in this summer for the public. 

The Shenlufeng Tourism Resort, a key project for the festival, was opened to the public on the opening day. The resort is a holiday spending destination of international quality which integrates such functions as mountain sport, health preservation in vacation, forest sightseeing, pastoral leisure, modern agriculture and business conference. It covers 49 popular scenic spots, including superb Diaoshuihu Limestone Cave of the highest altitude, the largest drop, the widest area and the most strange landscape in Northeast China, Tianya Swing, the highest in Northeast China, Glass Suspension Corridor, 180 meters long, the first of its kind in Jilin Province, Aerial Ropeway, 350 meters in height, Parents-Kids Park, Business Street covering food, residence, entertainment and shopping and several hundred of small sika deer being bred in the valley.
