The Report of Competitiveness Evaluation and Analysis of the Biomedical Industrial Parks of China for the Year of 2019 was officially released by the China Biotechnology Development Center. According to the list of China’s Top 50 Biomedical Industrial Parks unveiled in the same period, Changchun Hi-tech Industry Development Zone ranks the 22nd, up by 1 position from last year’s record, ranking the first among the biomedical industrial parks in Northeast China’s three provinces. 

In the report, 107 national hi-tech industry development zones, 78 national economic development zones and 4 other industrial parks were evaluated comprehensively and systematically. The data of the past three years were compared, including 198 items of data and 34 different themes such as industrial status, achievement transfer and transformation, R&D input and technical output, talent, enterprise, product, environment, etc. Insiders say the evaluation result is of authoritative and instructive significance.  

The medical and health industry of Changchun Hi-tech Industry Development Zone made a total output value of RMB11.51 billion in 2018, up 26% year on year, making it the second pillar industry after automobile manufacturing.
