Wang Kai, Liu Xin Meet Delegation of iFLYTEK 

Wang Kai, Secretary of the CPC Changchun Municipal Committee, and Liu Xin, Mayor of Changchun City, had a meeting with Liu Qingfeng, President of iFLYTEK, on October 9, 2019. The two sides discussed the possibility of deepening bilateral strategic cooperation and promoting key cooperation projects during the meeting.  

iFLYTEK is a leading enterprise in the field of AI. In recent years, it has cooperated with Changchun City in such aspects as intelligent automobile, entrepreneurial and innovation base, intelligent education and intelligent medical treatment. iFLYTEK has also planned to set up its headquarters and research institute for the region of Northeast China in Changchun City.  

At the meeting, Wang Kai expressed his gratitude to iFLYTEK for its long-term support for the socioeconomic development of Changchun City, saying, “Changchun has been conscientiously implementing the spirit of President Xi Jinping’s important speeches and instructions for the revitalization of Northeast China, vigorously promoting the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, accelerating the development of strategic, emerging industries and modern service industries, and promoting the improvement of quality, efficiency and power for economic development. It is hoped that iFLYTEK can seize development opportunity and take the signing of this strategic cooperation agreement as a new starting point to deepen the cooperation in automobile and equipment manufacturing, modern service, modern finance and opening up to the outside world, design more new projects, expand new space for development, and thus combine the technological, management, talent advantages of iFLYTEK with the industrial, scientific, educational and ecological advantages of Changchun City to promote the high-quality development of the two sides. The party committee and the government of Changchun City will strive to provide a top-notch business environment for enterprises to achieve win-win cooperative results.” 

Liu Qingfeng introduced the development of iFLYTEK, especially iFLYTEK’s investment projects in Changchun City. Liu expressed that Changchun had a sound political and business environment and iFLYTEK was full of confidence in the future of Changchun City, adding, “It is a strategic choice to have the regional headquarters of iFLYTEK in Northeast Asia settled in Changchun City. Hopefully, the cooperation in application, production and research between the two sides can be promoted for common development.”
