Commodities from Five Continents to Debut at Northeast Asia Expo

The Press Center of the 12th China-Northeast Asia Expo says the exhibition area for the countries and regions included in the “Belt and Road” Initiative will be set up this year as an effort to exhibit the featured commodities of science, technology, textile and food and thus get further integrated into the initiative. More than 250 enterprises from 28 countries in Asia, Europe, Africa, South America and Oceania have confirmed to participate in the exposition. 

 

The exhibition area totaling 7,200 square meters for the countries and regions included in the “Belt and Road” Initiative is inside the pavilions 4 and 5 of the Changchun International Convention and Exhibition Center. Thirteen government departments, institutions and business associations of foreign countries in China including the Embassy of in China, the Embassy of Pakistan in China, the Federation of Commerce and Industry of Nepal, ASEAN-China Economic and Trade Promotion Association, the Association of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises of Thailand, the Council for the Promotion of International Business of Malaysia will send delegations to attend the event this year. 

 

The featured commodities from five continents will make their debuts at the exhibition area for the countries and regions included in the “Belt and Road” Initiative, including 11 Asian countries Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Laos, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Turkey and Iran, 11 European countries France, Britain, Germany, Austria, Czech, Lithuania, Moldova, Ukraine, Serbia and Croatia, three African countries, Egypt, Ghana and Botswana, two South American countries, Argentina and Brazil, and one Oceanian country, Australia. 

 

In addition, there is an exhibition area totaling 3,000 square meters inside the pavilion 5 where nearly 2,000 kinds of commodities of 6 countries such as Germany, Ukraine and Croatia will be exhibited.
