The press conference for the Changchun International Marathon 2019 was held on May 22, 2019. According to the information released at the conference, the commemorative stamps for the Changchun International Marathon 2019 have been officially issued with the approval of China Post Group.

Each and every set of stamps includes 12 personalized stamps, 1 commemorative envelope and 1 commemorative postcard in which the emblem, theme and stadium of Changchun International Marathon 2019 are included. In total, 5000 sets will be issued nationwide.

From May 22 to May 26, China Post Group Changchun Branch will set up a temporary “Marathon Post Office” at the Sports Center of Changchun City where all participants, philatelic fans and the public can purchase and get the commemorative stamps stamped on the first issuance day to make such stamps more collectable.

As carriers of memories and good images of this large-scale sports event, these stamps are expected to further spread the cultural connotation embodied in the marathon, thereby becoming new business cards of Changchun, a city of charming spring.
