The delegation including Wang Kai, Secretary of the CPC Changchun Municipal Committee, and Liu Xin, Mayor of Changchun City, and representatives of Development and Reform Commission, Industry and Information Technology, Planning and Natural Resources, Kuancheng District and Lvyuan District visited CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles on May 22, 2019. Wang Run, President and Secretary of Party Committee of Changchun Railway Vehicles, together with other senior executives of the company, received the delegation. The two sides discussed the possibility of deepening cooperation between the central enterprise and the local government for promoting mutual development.

Wang Kai spoke highly of the positive contribution made by Changchun Railway Vehicles to the economic development and opening up of Changchun City, adding, “Changchun is now striving to build up a modern industrial system which is based on modern agriculture, supported by modern manufacturing industry, pillared by modern services and led by high-tech and strategic, emerging industries to speed up the construction of a modern metropolitan circle. To facilitate the transformation of railway vehicle as a competitive pillar industry is a task of great significance. We hope your company will play a model role in leading and driving more local enterprises to “go out’ for development, strengthen international cooperation and integrate into the “Belt and Road” Initiative in an all-round way so as to improve the level of opening up of Changchun City. The CPC Changchun Municipal Committee and the People’s Government of Changchun City will do the best as usual to support and serve the development of your company and establish a normalized counterpart coordination mechanism to jointly create an all-round revitalization and prosperity of the old industrial base.”

For the next step, according to Liu Xin, Changchun will fully implement the bilateral strategic development framework agreements, create better environments of government affairs, policies, services, legal institutions and urban surroundings for the development of Changchun Railway Vehicles and thus promote the cooperation between the two sides at a higher level and in a broader field. Liu Xin also pointed out that solutions should be provided accordingly to Changchun Railway Vehicles to help solve such specific issues as supporting services, construction of industrial parks and introduction of talents.

Wang Run introduced the development of Changchun Railway Vehicles and the plan of future development and demands, saying, “Changchun Railway Vehicles, located in Changchun City, will spare no effort to follow city’s planning to expand and strengthen the equipment manufacturing industry and thus make a new contribution to speeding up the overall revitalization of the old industrial base.”

On behalf of the People’s Government of Changchun City, Wang Lu signed a strategic development framework agreement with Changchun Railway Vehicles. Among the officials present at the meeting also included Ma Yanfeng.
