The China (Changchun)-Japan Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference, which was sponsored by Changchun Municipal People’s Government and Changchun Municipal Office for Cooperation and Exchanges, was held at the Shangri-La Hotel on May 21, 2019. At the meeting, the representatives of more than 20 Japanese enterprises had talks their counterparts of 50 local enterprises on energy conservation, environmental protection, education, medical care, culture, tourism, finance, high-end manufacturing, scientific and technological innovation and shared economy.

According to the leader of Asia-Africa Affairs of Changchun Municipal Office for Cooperation and Exchanges, the conference was held to make Japanese enterprises know more about Changchun and thus attract more to invest and help further promote the high-quality development of export-oriented economy of Changchun City.
