At the invitation of FAW-VW Co., Ltd., Xue Chunzhi, Director General of Changchun Foreign Affairs Office (CCFAO) attended the FAW-VW’s 30th anniversary celebration held on May 21, 2021. 

The theme of the celebration is “New Future, New Pattern”. FAW-VW’s history of from a pioneer to a leader remaining true to the original aspiration of making sedans for Chinese families was reviewed at the ceremony, which in turn has secured trust from 22 million customers in China over the past 30 years. 

In addition to expressing heartfelt thanks to its customers, employees, partners and shareholders for their support over the past 30 years, FAW-VW launched a magnificent blueprint for the future on this special day of May 21. 

Jing Junhai, Secretary of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee, Xu Liuping, President and Party Committee Secretary of FAW Group, and Stephan Wöllenstein, CEO of VW China, delivered speeches at the ceremony. Herbert Diess, Chairman of the Supervisory Board and CEO of Volkswagen Group, and Markus Duesmann, Chairman of the Board of Management and Board of Management Member for Product Lines at Audi AG, expressed their expectations and prospects through videos for FAW-VW’s future development. 

Several representatives of customers were also invited to share their users’ experience and stories with FAW-VW. 

The ceremony was closed successfully with the song “We Are Dreamers”.
