Jing Junhai, Vice Secretary of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee and Governor of Jilin Province, met with the delegation led by Vice President of Hana Finance Group, and witnessed the signing of a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement between the People’s Government of Changchun City and Hana Bank on October 9, 2019.  

On behalf of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee, the People’s Government of Jilin Province and Secretary Bayanqolu, Governor Jing Junhai extended his welcome to the delegation and congratulated Vice President Xian Yongzhou of Hana Financial Group on his title “Honorary Citizen of Changchun City”, adding, “Hana Financial Group, as an important partner for opening up and cooperation, has provided strong financial support for the development of Jilin Province. We are now implementing in depth President Xi Jinping’s important speeches and instructions on opening up and development, with active measures taken to get involved in the “Belt and Road” Initiative to expand international cooperation, focus on promoting the construction of China (Jilin)-ROK International Cooperation Demonstration Zone, and thus open up a new prospect of cooperation with ROK. It is hoped that your group can strengthen strategic cooperation, optimize investment, establish branches, expand business scope, improve service capabilities, enhance financial strength, promote the construction of such cooperative projects as big data center and talent training base, and thus attract more foreign customer resources into Jilin for cooperation and development and meanwhile respond with our comprehensive revitalization so as to promote the cooperation between the two sides more extensively, broadly and effectively.  

“It is a great honor to be an honorary citizen of your city,” said Vice President Xian Yongzhou, adding, “I will be very willing to regard Jilin as my hometown, and help facilitate the construction of Jilin as the headquarters in Northeast China, attract more foreign enterprises to Jilin and provide more high-quality financial services for your enterprises.” 

Mayor Liu Xin of Changchun City and President of Hana Bank signed the strategic cooperation agreement. During their stay in Jilin, the delegation had in-depth talks on project cooperation with relevant departments directly under the administration of Jilin Province and competent leaders of Changchun City.
