With the China-ROK Medical Cosmetic Cooperation Agreement signed on September 25, the China-ROK Medical Cosmetic Hospital will soon get settled in the China (Changchun)-ROK International Cooperation Demonstration Zone. In the meantime, the construction of China-ROK Medical Cosmetic Research Institute will be put on agenda. 

The signing activity was co-sponsored by the China (Changchun)-ROK International Cooperation Demonstration Zone, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Changchun Committee and Changchun Foreign Affairs Office (CCFAO), and organized by the Association of China-Japan-ROK Enterprises. Government officials including Li Weishu, Deputy Mayor of Changchun City, Xue Chunzhi, Director General of CCFAO, and representatives of more than 100 medical cosmetic enterprises from China and ROK attended the activity. 

Xu huaiwu, President of Changchun Council for the Promotion of International Trade, presided over the signing ceremony, saying, “The effort is meant to further implement the overall plan of China (Changchun)-ROK International Cooperation Demonstration Zone approved by the State Council, highlight the leading role of the demonstrate zone in the all-round cooperation and opening-up to the outside world as well as the service and settlement of foreign funds, promote the development of medical cosmetic industry of China and ROK, and create a top-notch cosmetic research center featuring combination of industry, university and research in China. 

Li Weibin, Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director General of the Administrative Committee of the China (Changchun)-ROK International Cooperation Demonstration Zone, delivered a speech at the signing ceremony, saying, “Since the demonstration zone was founded, the construction of such projects as the Big Health Industrial Park and Medical Device Industrial Park has been started, and the framework for the cultivation and development as well as the development of medical cosmetic industry have taken shape. The two medical cosmetic projects signed this time are an important part for the development of big health industry.” 

According to Li Weibin, the settlement of the medical cosmetic hospital is expected to help introduce advanced medical cosmetic technology and top-end talents from ROK, fill the gap of medical cosmetic in big health industry in the demonstration zone, and thus lay a solid foundation for the formation of a medical cosmetic cluster and the improvement of health industrial chain. 

“It is a new journey for Zhongyang Aesthetic Hospital, together with Asia (ROK) Medical Cosmetic Federation and Oracle Medical Beauty Hospital and China-ROK Medical Cosmetic, to build the China-ROK Medical Cosmetic Hospital and China-ROK Medical Cosmetic Research Institute. I believe that with the policy support of the China (Changchun)-ROK International Cooperation Demonstration Zone, Zhongyan Aesthetic Hospital will take active measures to facilitate the China (Changchun)-ROK International Cooperation Demonstration Zone to create a highland on a national scale and even in Northeast Asia, and a headquarters for medical cosmetic hi-tech and research and thus make a positive contribution to the cooperation in medical cosmetic industry between China and ROK,” said Du Jianshan, General Manager of Zhongyang Aesthetic Hospital, a cooperation signatory of the project. 

“Our goal is to create an influential and credible medical cosmetic brand. Hopefully, this partnership will make Oracle develop together with the China (Changchun)-ROK International Cooperation Demonstration Zone in the future,” said the leader of Oracle Medical Beauty Hospital. 

“The preferential policies for investment attraction issued by the People’s Government of Changchun City have enhanced to a great extent the desire for joint cooperation and development between China and ROK. We are very optimistic about the development prospect of the China ROK Changchun International Cooperation Demonstration Zone and we have every confidence in the development planning of medical cosmetic industry. The federation will be committed to introducing outstanding enterprises from ROK to your demonstration zone. We are looking forward to more fruitful cooperation results between the two sides,” said the Executive Director of the Asia (ROK) Medical Cosmetic Federation. 

At the ceremony, the framework agreement on the settlement of China-ROK Medical Cosmetic Hospital and establishment of the China-ROK Medical Cosmetic Research Institute were signed. 

The representatives of medical cosmetic enterprises from the two sides had business talks after the signing ceremony.
