Under the support of Jilin Provincial People’s Government and related departments of the government, Changchun started 18 projects in eight aspects to increase the crop output early this year. Up to now, RMB 554.226 million has been invested, of which RMB 387.102 million was financed by the state and provincial governments. The ongoing constructions of all projects are as follows:     

-Five irrigation projects have been started. So far, RMB 222.4 million, of which RMB 159.84 million was financed by the state and local governments has been used for the reconstruction of Songmu irrigation area and the one of Yinma River, the consolidation of small and medium-sized reservoirs and the subsidies on the anti-drought well and bucket projects, etc. 

-RMB 147.19 million, of which RMB 108.391 million was financed by the state and the local governments, has so far been invested on the reconstruction of 14,000 hectares of low-output farmland.

-Four projects totaling RMB 24 million in investment (RMB18 million invested by the state) have already been started for the construction of high-standard farmlands.
