Changchun Taxation College (CTC), located in Changchun, capital of Jilin province, is a multidisciplinary financial and economic institution of higher learning which specializes mainly in the subjects of economics and administration as well as law, literature, engineering and science concurrently.
Founded in 1948, CTC boasts of 57 years of history. It grew out of the Jilin Finance and Trade College. In 1992, the college was put under the State Taxation Bureau, and then became a college affiliated to the bureau, and thus the name was changed into Changchun Taxation College. At the beginning of 2000, the State Council made some adjustments to the management system and formation of the universities and colleges, CTC became one of key universities in Jilin province.
CTC started the education programs for international students in 1989, with most of its international students coming from such countries and regions as ROK, the US, Spain and Australia, etc., as exchange students or short-term Chinese trainees. The Division of International Exchange & Cooperation of CTC mainly takes charge of the enrollment, publicity, management, organization and implementation of various teaching and training programs for international students.
The Division of International Exchange and Cooperation of CTC has its own staff members taking charge of the enrollment, management and teaching as well as other issues associated with the HSK test. The students who have passed the HSK test may directly enroll in class of the selected specially, or go for master degree.

Changchun is competitive for it has unique advantages in well-developed primary education, mandarin environment and low daily expenses. Therefore, not only is it an ideal choice for the international university students, it is also the best destination for the international primary and secondary school students. According to the survey conducted by Changchun Municipal Bureau, some 1,000 international students are now studying here in over 30 primary or secondary schools.
