EU-China (Changchun) Economic and Trade Conference Opened
Changchun, June 19 (CTV News)—The EU-China (Changchun) Chambers of Commerce Economic and Trade Conference opened Tuesday morning on June 18, 2013.
The participants of the two sides discussed the possibility of establishing substantially cooperative relations in such fields as auto parts, economy, trade, tourism, environmental protection and publication.
“Changchun is known as a city of automobile. This time, we want to find partners supplying auto parts or engaged in research and development in this regard,” said a participant from Skoda Group of Czech.
“The most possible field for the cooperation between the two sides is automobile industry. We took digital manufacturing system with us this time. Hopefully, it can help promote the upgrading and transformation of local auto parts industry. This is what we want. I believe it is also something meaningful for local enterprises,” said the executive chairman of EU-China Enterprise Confederation.
“Our goal is to get our private enterprises matched with their European counterparts so that they can make full use of Europe’s competitiveness in technology, production, research and development. And exchanges and cooperation in auto parts, rail transit and modern service can be made possible,” said Xue Wenge, Deputy Chairman of Changchun Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce.
The EU-China Enterprise Confederation and Changchun Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce signed a framework agreement on European industry park at the conference.
Among the officials attending the conference also included Liu Desheng and Li Weidou, Deputy Chairmen of Changchun Municipal People’s Political Consultative Conference.
